Highlights from Vision Expo East
The International Vision Expo East is the pre-eminent fashion and medical eyecare event where eyecare professionals gather to experience the energy and international style of eyewear and eyecare. Occhiali Modern Optics’ Sara McDaniel travels each year to Vision Expo East in New York and then again to Vision Expo West to learn about the latest trends and technology in eyecare and to buy the latest fashions for our customers. Below are some highlights from the 2014 International Vision Expo East.
Tom Davies Creative Workshop
Tom Davies hosted a Creative Lab. Designer Tom Davies discussed the design challenges, creative ideas, tips and tricks, and do’s and don’ts of Bespoke Eyewear. New color palettes were revealed as well. Sara designed and ordered new eyewear for Occhiali. We look forward to inviting you in to view the collection.

Opticianry Summit
The Opticianry Summit provided informative discussions regarding state and national education, certification and licensure requirements This was a wonderful time of collaboration and professional networking for opticians.
