While saying goodbye to 2023, we wanted to highlight the growth of the store and our favorite takeaways!
To kick off the year, we attended Vision Expo East in New York. We met with our fabulous vendors to view and order the newest eyewear releases – keeping our inventory fresh and current! Our OMO eyewear enthusiasts were able to attend educational popups, meet influencers of the eyewear industry and assist in selecting unique spectacles which made for amazing team experience!
We introduced two new FAB collections this year – Hoorsenbuhs & Say Oh!
HOORSENBUHS [pronounced horse-en-boo] is an American fine jewelry house and lifestyle brand based in Los Angeles.
Since launching over a decade ago, the company—known for its meticulously handcrafted rings, cuffs and Open-link chains—has become a quiet force in the luxury fashion world and beyond. The eyewear collection launched in 2018. We are super stoked to carry this beautiful jewlery-esque collection!
SAY oH! is designed and handcrafted with passion from start to finish in a single Japanese factory where the story is very personal.

Modern Luxury Dallas magazine highlighted yours truly in their Power Players feature June issue on page 106. You can gain a little insight into my background and experience! It was such a blast having the opportunity to share the growth of my passion for eyewear and the industry along with a fun photoshoot on location in the perfect “Eye-Catching” Dallas landmark.
The Occhiali Gucci-themed basket for the raffle at Attitudes and Attire Luncheon and Fashion Show was a hit! We had the privilege of hearing testimonies from women who have overcome tremendous adversities and rejoined the workforce. The assistance and resources provided by this amazing non-profit truly changes lives. Occhiali has been a consistent donor for over a decade. Consider donating gently worn business attire, attending next year’s luncheon or making a financial contribution.
Partners Card is one of our favorite events of the fall in which all card proceeds of a purchased discount card go toward The Family Place, an organization that supports survivors of family violence. It is always impactful to interact with our clients during this season. We are reminded how long they, too, have supported this important cause and how important it is to have a charitable spirit.
Occhiali trunk shows were an added bonus for our clients shopping during Partner’s Card. This year we introduced our champagne cart and custom cookies! We love to show off ENTIRE collections and have fun doing it!
Going into the holiday season, we are feeling thankful for a year of growth, change and educational opportunities. At Occhiali Modern Optics we are committed to staying current, but remaining true to our brand. We are excited to have new collections, new staff and the same fun energy!
