NEW store hours, NEW communication methods, NEW staff, & NEW YORK CITY!

NEW Hours of Operation

I am still not accustomed to writing “2024” but, for this New Year we have updated our store hours to better serve our clientele.

Mondays we are open by appointment only. 

Tuesday – Friday we now open at 9am & continue to close at 6pm.

Saturdays we are here from 9am – 4PM  to serve you!

Walk-ins welcomed during any operating hour, appointments are available and prioritized ANYTIME. Contact us via [email protected] or 214-368-2777 to schedule your appointment with the first available optician or the optician of your choice.  

Communication Optimization

We want to continue to provide a variety of methods to keep you updated. I want to highlight those methods in case you missed the last memo! 

  • BLOG – For starters, you’re in the right place. Blog posts will summarize what’s to come, what’s new in the shop, and spotlight past events and media accolades. 
  • CALENDAR – While you’re here you can click on over to the calendar page on our website to SEE events, sales, and store closures. There’s an option to subscribe to the calendar so you get real-time updates directly to your personal phone/computer. 
  • MONTHLY NEWS LETTER COMING SOON – We are going Occhiali green – OUT with the postcard mailers and IN with digital newsletters! Feel free to join by clicking on the contact us tab to be the first to find out about promotions and events as well as any store updates. 
  • SOCIAL MEDIA – For those that want to get social with us, follow us on facebook & instagram for all the fun!

TEAM Evolution

We are thrilled to share with you the newest addition to the Occhiali family! 

Marissa McDaniel graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in nursing. While she is still currently practicing her passion for patient care, she is finding that a healthcare background combined with an eye for fashion suits her quite nicely! Understanding prescription requirements is her strength and this coupled with a natural eye on the aesthetic is EXACTLY what Occhiali looks for in an optician. She has acute attention to detail, a sincere customer-focused drive and the ability to connect ALL OF THE DOTS – You’ll SEE this apple didn’t fall far from the tree! 

NYC Eyewear EXPO

Occhiali Modern Optics prides itself on staying current with the latest fashion and trends in eyewear as well as lens technology. We also believe it is important to constantly pursue higher learning opportunities to keep our opticianry skills sharp. What’s better than heading to the big apple for Vision Expo to check those boxes! Stay tuned for the exciting LIVE experience in March! We’ll be posting daily updates on socials that you don’t want to miss!
